Anna celebrated her 2nd Birthday today with a Dora the Explorer party. Such fun decorations and cake! Thanks to our friends and neighbors for coming over to celebrate with us. Anna had a wonderful day.

The Thomassee Three went for a drive up The Great River Road on Sunday. It follows the Upper Mississippi on the Missouri side. We were hoping to see bald eagles, as this time of year if perfect. We saw two, but forgot to get the camera out. The Upper is frozen-it looks like a field covered with snow in most spots. Some places have a small open spot of water here and there. Here are a few pics of the river at Clarksville, MO. Brrr!

Ringing in the New Year with cousins

Anna got to play with her Thomassee cousins Abigail and Olivia last week. They had lots of fun with baby dolls, Christmas presents and the dogs. Abigail is 3 and a very sweet little lady. Olivia is just a month younger than Anna and gives sweet sugars! The girls had a good time together. We can't wait to visit them in Louisiana.

Christmas Day 2009

Santa came to see Anna after lunch today. We had planned for him to come while she was napping, but she had other plans. He brought lots of nice toys-a baby doll with a stroller, play yard and high chair. Santa also left a Dora Backpack, a stick horse and cowgirl hat. Sounds like Anna has been a very good girl this year!
