Bath and Tummy Time

Anna is learning to enjoy the bath. Each time, she just seems to like it more. No big splashing yet, but she just smiles.

She is also getting better at tummy time. Today she stayed up for over five minutes. As you can see, she is very strong and alert.

My big baby just keeps getting bigger! I took her to the office to weigh her Wednesday afternoon on the way home. She's up to 13lb 8oz. Now that wasn't with a clean diaper and stripped down, but still! I'd say she's at least 13lb 2oz by now.

Working Girl

The day has finally come for me to go back to work. Anna will go to Miss Alissa's tomorrow for the whole day. She's been a couple of times, but just for a few hours at a time. I'm sure she will be fine, but Mommy on the other hand...

Anna and I did spend some time in Paducah last week. She and Grandaddy spent some time on the John Deere lawnmower. I hope Jacob is OK with that!

Growing Girl

Anna went for a check up today....she weighs 10 lbs 10oz and is 22 1/4 in long! Dr. Yu said she is doing well and will see her in another month. She'll get some shots then, so that won't be fun. Hopefully Anna will do better than Mommy & Daddy at that visit!

I will be returning to work in a couple of weeks and Anna will be going to the sitter every day. She'll get a few days with Miss Alissa before then to get used to each other.

Willie and I are enjoying Anna more each day. She is smiling, laughing, cooing and just so much fun to be around. We are so very blessed to have her in our lives.

Happy Easter

Grandpa Harschel got to meet Anna this weekend! He and Miss Colene had a nice Easter basket for her with bunnies and duckies. It was very cute!

She also got to meet Mamaw (her great-grandmother) this weekend, too. Jacob and Samantha escorted her to the farm and showed her the ropes for her first visit.

We also visited Pat & Lisa, Aunt Sue, and Renee'. Roxana came by for a visit on Friday. On Sunday, we went to church with Mimi and Grandaddy, so everyone there got to see her, too.

It was a very nice weekend and enjoyed getting to see everyone. Anna slept the whole way to Paducah and back! What a good little traveler.

Tummy Time is FUN

Here's Anna getting some tummy time. She does seem to enjoy it. Willie and I try to put her on the boppy at least once a day. She has also decided she likes her swing, too. Falls right to sleep! She and I have lots of fun together during the days. Daddy has his turn after work, as he and Anna play together at night. She is really a joy.

Three's Good

We had some company this weekend--cousins Jacob and Samantha came for a quick visit. Jacob was very excited to see Baby Anna! He's been waiting almost as long as I did for her to get here. Samantha wasn't sure about that baby everyone kept looking at and her Mommy kept holding. Mimi and Grandaddy had all three grandkids in one place at one time.

Anna and I will be on our own tomorrow. Hopefully, Daddy won't have to come rescue me during the day. I'm sure we'll be OK.

We will be going to Paducah on Friday to see Grandpa Harchel and Miss Colene. They will certainly fall in love with Anna, too.
