I love the Zoo

I'm so glad the St Louis Zoo is so close! All three of us enjoy visiting the zoo throughout the year. And we have a picture at Anna drinking from these water fountains every year since 2009! It's a great way to see how she has grown.

The Easter Bunny and the D-O-G

We went to Burna for Easter at Mimi and Grangraddy's house. The EB found us there!!

After much debate and thought (and prayer), we got a dog. Her name is Reina and she is a weimareiner. Reina will be 5 in the fall and came from a great home that was just too small. Anna loves her and isn't afraid at all.

Louisiana Trip

To celebrate one cousin's graduation and another's marriage, we took a trip to Louisiana last week. I had only been a couple of times and Anna had never been.

We drove to New Orleans the first day. Willie is a wonderful tour guide! Anna was definitely the cutest thing on Bourbon Street that day!

Then it was off to Lafayette, LA to see the Thomassee family--the WHOLE Thomassee family! We had a great time meeting new people and seeing how others are growing and changing, just like Anna Banana.

Santa

Willie's office Christmas Open House was last weekend. They had a wonderful Santa, who returned for another year of visits to kids young and old. Anna remembered visiting with him last year, and this year had her picture made in Santa's lap! She ran right up to him later to hug him good-bye also.

I let Anna decorate her own Christmas tree in the kitchen this year. She did a wonderful job and had a great time doing it, too.

Fall Zoo Trip

We went to the zoo today. It was a bit windy, but not crowded at all. I hope Anna never tires of the St Louis Zoo. It's a wonderful, fun and free activity that all three of us can do together.
