A Day of Firsts

Today Anna ate rice cereal for the first time! She did very well and I think she managed to actually consume 5-6 spoonfulls. I made it thin at first and then thickened it up some. She did better with it thicker.

Then, after she took a 2-hour nap in the swing, Daddy had assembled her Baby Einstein Bouncer/Activity Center. She plays in one similar at Miss Alissa's house. Let's hope this one is just as good!

We are going to Paducah this weekend and next. Lots of travel for a little kid!

Baby Cate

Please go to the link on the left and read about Baby Cate. She needs our prayers! I'm not sure of all the details, but she has heart defects and has had surgery in Houston, TX this past week. Her mom is a friend of my neice, Angie.

Still Growing

Anna is learning to hold her bottles!

Anna and I went to my office today for lunch. Her pediatrician's office is in the next hall, so I weighed her while we were there. An even 16 pounds! WOW! Our little girl just keeps growing and growing. She's such a happy baby most times also. Willie and I are enjoying being parents.

Owwww!

Anna found Mommy's hair on Monday. We were at home getting ready to meet Daddy for lunch when she grabbed a handful. Lots more ponytail 'dos for me now!

Grandparents are Great!

Mimi and Grandaddy came up for my birthday, but Anna was the one who was spoiled! She is growing more and more....she weighs 14lbs 10oz! I can't believe she is 3 months old already.

Mother's Day

Anna went to the doctor last Thursday for her shots. She did better than Mommy and Daddy. She also weighs 13lbs 14oz and is 23 1/2 in long. Our little angel is growing by the day!

She also picked out a nice Mother and Child pendant for me on my first Mother's Day. I think she had a little help from Daddy.
