Good News, Bad News

I went to the OB this morning.....still pregnant. I am 100% thinned, which is good. However, the baby is not engaged in the pelvis, which is not good. Since we know she is possibly quite large, I will have another Ultrasound next Thursday to see what's going on. C-section is looking more and more possible now.

Now, If We Could Just Have That Baby.....

Mimi and Grandaddy came up over the weekend. Willie and Grandaddy put together several of Anna's necessities-like the Pack & Play, the swing, and the rocking chair. Mimi and I made sure Anna & I each had a bag packed for the hospital. It was also the first time they had seen Anna's room. Grandaddy said it's "very pink".

We have everything we need, except a baby. Our next OB visit is Thursday morning. We will see how much bigger I have grown and how things are progressing.

Still hangin' on

I went to the OB last night....still pregnant. Only dialated 1/2 cm or so. Will have another US at 39 weeks (assuming I am still pregnant then) to see how much bigger this child is. She was estimated at 7lbs two weeks ago! So, I am having a big baby.

Time's running out

Willie & I are getting closer to the arrival of our Anna Catherine. We have had three wonderful showers-one in Paducah, and one from each of our co-workers. Special thanks to all of you who had a part in any of them. We appreicate your kindness, whether shown in gifts or wishes.

The room is almost ready for Willie to paint the bear on the wall. My co-workers gave us the bedding and it's been washed and put on the bed. Willie has the mobile on her crib. I still need to get a rocking chair or glider for those middle of the night sessions. Of course, she won't sleep in there for a few months, but it will be in move-in condition when she's ready.

Mimi and Grandaddy are coming up next week to bring the travel system from Renee's aunt Barbara. They will also get a look at Anna's room and help us make any finishing touches.

No official change in my due date. Dr. Moeller said she's just potentially a big baby. Hopefully she will decide to join us before she gets too big!

I'll post some pictures of the nursery next week when it's done.

How about that full moon....

We went for another ultrasound today. Anna is estimated to weigh 7lbs already!! Since weight is estimated and can be one pound lower or higher, she's anywhere from 6-8lbs right now. She could end up weighing 8-10lbs by the end of February!! We only saw the nurse praactitioner today and will go back to see Dr Sullivan next Wednesday to see what she recommends. Due date may be changed to February 21st...full moon that day.

The only US photo we have is a face profile and isn't that great. The good news is, she's still a girl!

We had a very nice shower in Paducah on Saturday and one at Memco (Willie's office) today. Lots of nice, pink things. I think he is going to start painting the artwork in Anna's room this weekend. I will post a picture when it's done.

Growing by Leaps and Bounds.....

We went to the doctor tonight. I am 32w 4d and measuring 35cm. So....we will do another ultrasound in two weeks to see if Anna is big, if I have lots of fluid, or am just fat & pregnant. Hope to have new pictures then!

And the PUPPPs rash-thing was short lived. It only lasted about a week. I used Benadryl cream for a few days and it went away. I have just been using lotion for extra-dry skin and seem to be doing OK.
